Files & access
Check the 30-day draft, 90-day paid editing and seven-day download periods, plus what happens when you delete a book or account.
Download a copy to your own device before online access ends. A reading link is a way to share a finished version during the book’s access period; it is not permanent storage. Check the actual expiry dates in Settings.
Free drafts last 30 days from creation. If you pay, your first confirmed payment starts 90 days of editing, followed by seven days to download finished files. New contributions, edits and exports are unavailable in that download-only window. Changing the contribution deadline does not extend access.
An unpaid draft is queued for deletion seven days after its 30-day period expires. For a paid book, online access ends when the download window closes; content is queued for deletion seven days later. That waiting period does not restore access. Background removal is retried if it fails.
Deleting a book immediately revokes its links and queues its messages, photos and exports for removal. Deleting one contribution also invalidates online versions that contain it. Files already downloaded cannot be recalled.
Open Account to download your information or delete your account. You may need to log out and back in to confirm a recent sign-in. Account deletion starts removal of your books; limited transaction and deletion records remain under the published policies. Optional reminders go only to your account email. Keep your own record of access dates rather than relying on email.
