PLANNING THE BOOK

Plan the book around the celebration.

01

Leave time for the final checks

Set the contribution deadline a few days before the handover. Give yourself time to check names, captions and every page of the exported PDF.

02

Invite former colleagues too

Think about the people they worked with over the years. Share the contribution link directly, and mention if the book is a surprise.

03

Bring different voices together

Choose the messages to include, arrange them and pick a cover. Save the finished PDF and create a separate reading link for the recipient.

WRITING PROMPTS FOR YOUR TEAM

What should colleagues write in a retirement book?

Give colleagues a question they can answer from experience. They can write a few lines or share a longer story.

  • What did they teach you that you still use?
  • When did their kindness make an ordinary day better?
  • Which small team tradition will always remind you of them?
  • What do you hope they finally have more time to enjoy?

Questions about your retirement book

Can former colleagues contribute?

Yes. Anyone you share the active contribution link with can add a message without making an account. Send it directly and ask people not to publish or forward it widely.

Does every message need a photograph?

No. A name and a message are enough. A photo and caption are optional; use only images the contributor has permission to share.

Can we print the book for the celebration?

You can download a printable PDF once the book is unlocked. Open and check it before using your own printer or a print service. Team Memory Book does not print or ship.

How much does the finished book cost?

A free draft lasts 30 days. Unlock one book for USD 19, paid once, with up to 50 contributors, 80 pages and 90 days of editing from the first confirmed payment. Contributors do not pay.

Is the online book available forever?

No. Paid books include 90 days of editing and a further seven days to download finished files. Save the final PDF while downloads are available so you can keep your own copy.
